Hundreds of formats for a lot of GPS receivers or mapping and navigation programs are supported. GPSBabel is a well-acknowledged tool which was first released in 2001 and constantly improved ever since. It currently impresses not only with the huge variety of supported formats, but also with the handy additional features and functions. For example, it comes with handy, fully-configurable data filters that allow sorting out tracks, routes and waypoints based on various criteria.

Though it’s a powerful and comprehensive application, it’s neither costly nor difficult to use. It’s in fact a free tool that can be used without any costs or restrictions by anyone. Furthermore, it’s also quite simple and easy-to-use, as its interface is neat, straightforward and intuitive.
